WHAT IS DRU YOGA?
A graceful and potent form of yoga based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation, Dru Yoga has its roots in classical yoga and includes yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breath), mudras (hand gestures), positive affirmations, empowering visualisations and powerful sequences performed in a dynamic and flowing style. 

CAN ANYBODY DO DRU?
Don't worry if you have never done Dru or any other form of yoga before. Trixi's classes are aimed to suit the needs and abilities of beginners, those who have done Dru, and those who have experience of other forms of yoga.


A BIT ABOUT TRIXI

Trixi's love of practising yoga in one form or another since the late 1970s eventually led her to train to teach Dru Yoga. This she did at the International Dru Centre in Snowdonia, where she had the privilege to be taught by a team of wonderful trainers. Trixi is fully qualified and is a full member of the Dru Professional Network.

Because of the popularity of Trixi's Zoom class in the UK and overseas, these classes will now continue indefinitely. Ellesmere Private Class will continue subject to the ongoing Covid situation.

Here are dates for the late winter/spring

ZOOM: Fridays 4pm
PRIVATE ELLESMERE CLASS: Fridays 10.30pm:
Jan 7, 14, 21, 28 and Feb 4 (5 sessions)

​ENERGISING MAJOR JOINTS & MUSCLES
We'll be targeting hips and thighs in sessions 1 & 2, shoulders in session 3, the spine and back muscles in session 4, and gluts and abs in session 5​​

MEDITATION IN MOVEMENT
In these five sessions we'll explore how breath and flow in yoga can turn our yoga session into a moving meditation, encouraging eventual stillness and a calm mind.​​​​​​
